Lena Ghadanian Artunian is a third generation chef who has been cooking since the age of seven. Cooking has always been a part of her life, with her parents owning several restaurants that included a popular Mediterranean restaurant in Los Angeles touted for its authentic cuisine. She shares recipes passed down for decades that showcase how to make traditional Middle Eastern staples, often forgotten today and difficult to find and reproduce without proper knowledge. She also showcases a range of healthy and family-friendly recipes from cultures around the world.
Cooking has been in Lena's family for generations, with her grandfather George Ghadanian to her Father Mihran Ghadanian passing down recipes and Syrian specialty dishes requiring immense dedication and mastery to produce a rich flavor and aroma that leaves a deep impression with any diner. Her family has owned restaurants in Syria, Lebanon, and in the US, with Mihran's Restaurant operating for 22 years. She spent countless years cooking in the restaurant kitchen, learning how to make recipes she shares with followers around the globe on HyeFeastLA's Instagram.
Today, Lena continues to share her expertise and her family recipes with customers around the globe, providing skills, tips, and techniques in the kitchen. In addition to recipe sharing, she also provides cooking classes to groups, individuals, and via Zoom for customers interested in learning to cook from the comfort of their own home.
